We are a Tamil University-accredited fine arts institution committed to nurturing talent in dance and music, located in Thamarassery, Kozhikode, Kerala. Since 1990, we have offered a range of programs, including University-recognized certification courses, Diplomas in Bharatanatyam and Carnatic Music, and grade-level certifications. Our curriculum spans classical art forms like Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi, Mohiniyattam, and Carnatic music, offering comprehensive training at all levels. Aligned with our vision of "Fine Arts for All" we are expanding to provide live online classes, making quality fine arts education accessible globally.

Dr. Smitha S Raj

(M.Phil, PhD in Bharatanatyam)

Devika S

Faculty of Bharatanatyam, Tiruchirapalli Diocesan Educational Society (TDES) and Tamil University distant education program, researcher, choreographer, Bharatanatyam exponent, and Director of Natannam.

She is a trained classical dancer proficient in Bharatanatyam, Mohiniyattam, and Kuchipudi. Having trained under the esteemed guidance of Dr. Smitha S. Raj at Natannam School of Classical Arts, she holds a B.Ed and a Diploma in Bharatanatyam from Tamil University. Professionally, she is a mathematics teacher, bringing precision, clarity, and passion to both her classroom and her art.

Anusha CK

She is a distinguished Mohiniyattam artist, celebrated for her mastery of abhinaya and her unwavering dedication to the art form. A vital part of Natannam for the past 18 years, she has represented the institution in numerous competitions & contributed significantly to many of our major productions. Her dance journey began under the guidance of Guru Dr. Smitha S. Raj, who laid the strong foundation for her artistic growth. Beyond her accomplishments in dance, she is also a clinical psychologist, bringing depth and empathy to both her profession and her performances.

Ayna C Rajesh

She is a trained classical dancer proficient in Bharatanatyam, Mohiniyattam, and Kuchipudi, having undergone dedicated training under Guru Dr. Smitha S. Raj at Natannam. Her journey in dance is marked by notable achievements, including winning the state-level championship in classical dance competitions & being awarded the prestigious Manju Warrier Scholarship, recognizing her exceptional talent & commitment to Indian classical dance. Professionally, she is a 2nd-year medico, pursuing her medical studies with the same dedication and discipline that define her artistry.
